What is the minimum driver age?
Minimum age is 20 for most vehicles; SUVs require 21 or older. All drivers must have held a valid licence for at least 12 months.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price shown during booking includes all charges and the 24% Icelandic VAT. Standard coverage includes unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
Can I drive on F-roads (Highland tracks)?
F-roads require a 4×4 vehicle. Driving any other car on a Highland track voids your insurance and is illegal in Iceland. Check with us if you're unsure whether your vehicle is F-road rated.
What do I need at pick-up?
Bring your booking confirmation, a valid driving licence, your passport, and the credit or debit card used to book.
Can I pick up or drop off outside office hours?
Yes — pick-up and drop-off are available daily from 07:30 to 23:00. A fee of EUR 35 applies for service outside our standard office hours of 07:30 – 17:00.
Is there a free cancellation policy?
Yes. Cancel up to 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up at no charge.
